Cheers @hh1, he the cat currently owes me £415 - he better get better!

Good luck with puppy selection, what breed? And I LOL'd at the ".....I may be forced to choose one...."
At that price for your cat I hope so too!

The last two - the one I just lost is my avatar - were German shorthaired pointers. I'm in love with them and lucky enough to be able to give one enough exercise to keep them happy. And the exercise is good for me too - allegedly :D

@Robinredbreast - that's wonderful! I am so pleased for you :)

I'VE GOT IT, my very own Libre as from this afternoon, so I'm all set up and and ready to go :joyful:
I'm a happy bunny:happy:

Great news @Robinredbreast about the Libre.

I find the first day or so and the last day or soo the readings can be out a bit, so keep your eye on that . readings between BG of 4 and BG of around 10 are usually accurateish. Above or below these maybe best doing a quick finger prick.

Its such a relief being able to simply scan and go without the fuss of get out test kit etc

You can quickly see trends and adjust insulin as required or take a sneaky wee bit of cake etc as required

I am so pleased, I was counting the days, the 2 week trial I had was just great, seeing the trends and just scanning at work, especially useful when working with food and also giving the poor ole pinkies a bit of respite too :)

Hi guys. My diabetes nurse showed me this chart to me yesterday. She said as I arrived into hospital my sugars blood levels were higher than 380. Sky high off the page. I could have died.

I'm happy to say my levels are now bottom line in red 215. That's after only few weeks being home. Still long long way to go. But progress is coming along.Screenshot_20190627_163730_com.android.gallery3d.jpeg

I feel 4.0 is stepping into hypo territory, but 5-8mmol is a good range.

Great news, I've found Libre a real game changer, so glad you've got there in the end!

Shhhh don't mention cake, you know who may be reading this ;):D

@Robinredbreast guessing you have the Libre reader to go with Libre. I use this but also use my Android phone, using the Libre Link app. Not sure if you are aware of this. The phone gives slightly better info as well

Hi guys. Need advice. I was just injecting my thigh of lantas. But after the stuff went in the injection came out. Was meant to hold it for 10-20secs. Just worried if it all went in OK.

Hypo central here. Arrived home from supermarket in a sweat, thought it was the weather, tested, it was my bloods. Have just eaten roughly half the shopping, this is going to be bad.

Big hugs. I’ve done pretty much the same this evening :(

Yes we were shown how to use both, I now have the app on my phone, but tbh I will probably use phone to send my readings to son and daughter, they need to download the app, I've scanned twice, so a couple more scans before bed.
