I think that's sad. Says more about him than you Antje and if we ever meet by accident in the wild I promise I'll be as excited as you!
A much sunnier Cheshire beckons today, not sure what we're doing yet but went to Port Sunlight yesterday, fascinating and beautiful to look at. Have a good day all even if you're not lucky enough to be on holiday

LoopWhat app are u using?
Loop- it’s a very unofficial, DIY, non-approved method of connecting my Libre sensor and my Omnipod pump using a Bluetooth transmitter called a MiaoMiao, an electronic bridge called a RileyLink and a self-built app (Loop) to basically create an artificial pancreas. There’s a big underground community of type ones who aren’t waiting for the big corporations to get this tech to market and we’re building our rigs ourselves. What it’s doing is using its own algorithms to predict where it thinks my blood glucose will be in an hour based on the data from my Libre sensor, and then adjusting the basal rate of my pump to get it to where I’ve told it I want to be: 4.8-5.5mmol.
I won’t lie - it is. Probably seems like witchcraft when you’re just starting out in your T1 journey (and did to me when I first started reading up on it), but being a bit of a geek/scientist/medic it’s right up my alley!OK. Sounds complicated.
