Type 1'stars R Us

Morning fellow champs! Good work on the pizza bolus @mountaintom ! I had a spot too much wine last night and made some unfortunate food choices, but they mostly involved butter, peanut butter and a spoon. Could have been worse! Went to bed on a 5.9 and woke up on a.... 5.9 :)

All gone t*ts up now though, I took my usual foot on the floor shot, and now I’m at 3.9 and falling... :meh: Had the dawn horror gone away with the split Tresiba dose? Was it the wine? Is lime pickle an appropriate breakfast choice? Stay tuned for the next fascinating instalment...

10.3 :/ 14 days exercise free but am going gymming at lunch today (he tells himself, writing it down so he obliges himself to switch back on)

As a strong advocate of gallows humour I've struggled with the 5 stages of grief, I just seem to have anger and acceptance, as a realist I don't see denial, being quite headstrong I don't understand bargaining (it once took me 6 months to sell a Vauxhall Calibra as I wouldn't drop my asking price :) ) and I don't think I've ever understood depression, luckily enough.

I had a smoke buddy round last night, we usually have a jam on acoustics but last night we played electric :) although 'played' is maybe a bit of an exaggeration so I'm going to cringe if I see the neighbours today as it was a good session, and going by the volume settings on the amps I reckon someone's going to have something to say... :)

Onwards and upwards.
 
Late mornin’ all. Good so far but who knows what today’ll bring. We had a grand chopping and logging day in the garden yesterday, too much for the compost heap, log store, etc so it’s off to the council greens and bits dump. Adding an old and cranky chest of drawers and hoping I bump into someone throwing away things I like and can arrange swopsies.

Libre flattish between 5.9 and 4.4 so far but just waiting for the mid-morning surge and its game of toddler tag.

11.6 before lunch. Had a stressful day at work, **** really. Now home and having a lovely cup of tea and I receive a message from the acting manager ( as other one is away for a week) regarding the brand :- urgent Lee Kum Lee please be aware there is an issue with today's survey I have informed HQ,
My reply ;- That rounds a c**p day off then !! but thanks for the heads up.
Oh well..................:rolleyes:

Enjoy what's left of today and the weekend.
Rest assured that the starting and success of this thread far outweighs any HQ bulls**t.:):):)

Thanks for that @therower :) Father's day tomorrow and the first one without my dear dad...... it's gonna be a bit of a weepie one............

What a day ive had today been hypo on and off all day lowest was 2.4 no reason for it ive eaten loads and taken less bolus heads banging with it now lying in bed feeling sorry for myself keep txting down to tommy to bring me cups of tea he reckons hes lost half a stone running up and down anyhw hope everyones had a good day had a great visit with the grandsons grow up far too fast .had o phone calloff son hes in budapest on his stag do when i answered he said he hadnt meant to call it was a mistake ....me i think he just wanted to hear my voice being so far from home
