@kev-w what car is it that’s causing you all the problems?

She's an old clapped out Saxo :p that really needs to last the year out after the mot work done last November, but there's a catastrophic head failure occurred and it's a gamble stripping it in situ as the engine may still need removing, my cheapest option is buying an engine from a rear end shunt car or a spares/repair with a slipping clutch as I put mine in last year and would swap it over same as I'd reuse my gearbox.

Hi @Cumberland . The very thought of cataracts makes me feel for you.
My 80+ yr old mum has recently had hers sorted, said is was an unbelievable experience and such a worthwhile inconvenience.
I hope you get yours sorted sooner rather than later.
Lovely and sunny here (East mids) long may it continue.
Enjoy the rest of the day.:)

I make things out of branches etc and sell them for charity however I made this one for my nieces husband whose birthday it is on Sunday.

Totally impressed with your ability to see and think out of the box.
Absolutely wonderful creation from something so simple.

I'm glad that this thread was started by @Robinredbreast as a response I think to my initial question,"why so few?" It's good to know I'm not alone and that there are lots of lovely T1s out here.
My BG is suffering because of stress, numbers are just silly and don't know what to do about it. Into the garden I suppose.

Thank you @therower

Been a sizzler here

@slip . Morning bro.
The head wound is healing thank you very much.
It turns out the section of my forehead removed by my Skoda Yeti tailgate is actually still adhered to the inside edge.
It's made for some " interesting " comments from the people I've shown it to. ( warped sense of humour:))
Not a bad day for you yesterday it would seem, hopefully today will follow a similar trend.

Blood test done, phlebotomist was top notch. Still can't fathom out why they say " little scratch ." It feels nothing like a. little scratch.

Wife at dentist for a filling soon and she insists she is still up for our Friday lunch out. We'll see how it goes.

Sorry to hear about your sore head, hope is mends well with no scarring. If you did manage to go out for lunch with your wife, I hope you both had a lovely meal and her nasher's are all okay

Hi RRB. I'm sure it'll scar, I have more scars then I care to mention. We holiday a lot in Cornwall where everything is built with head clearance of 5'11" which is lovely. At 6' I have often given myself, what my wife fondly calls a flip top head. I'm sure the scarring from my most recent mishap will lend to my rugged good looks:):):).
We actually managed lunch. Omelette and chips for me, egg mayonnaise salad for the wife.
( I think the anaesthetic has worn off, she's started nagging again:banghead::banghead::banghead:)
Hope all is well with yourself.
