It’s bizarre. I’d also said that I’d got glucogel in my bag, dealt with it quickly and easily, and never missed a beat. But apparently it’s terrible management to have allowed it to happen in the first place, I should run it into the 8s to be safe. At which point I thanked him for his immense wisdom, and blocked him. I must look like some silly, young flighty bint in all my profile pictures, instead of the middle aged hag I am in real life :p
How dare you try to keep your blood glucose at the level of a person without diabetes! What terrible management

Feeling distinctly like my Libre lied to me last night! Knew my sugar was coming down when I went to bed so set an alarm for 11.30pm to check again, it said 4.6 with an arrow straight down! Munched myself 2 biccies (8g carbs) and went back to sleep. Woke up at 5.40 at 9 having been around 9 all night according to the graph, and no sign of it ever going so low as 4.6. Hmph. Need to do more reading on this basal testing lark as I've been reducing my levemir- only had 2units today and actually had a better day for it. Off to the Google machine!

There is a black hole on the daily graphs around about midnight, on mine anyway. Though it's usually just after.midnight the gap appears.

I don't know how many data points are used in the daily graph, but if it was a quick fall and a quick rise, and it was around midnight it just might not have shown up.

The sensor does one reading every minute, but the daily graph clearly doesn't show that much detail. It's a bit like an 8 bit recording compared to a 24 bit one.

@Alison54321 ooh I haven't noticed that on mine. Sometimes I get a little gap because I sleep too long and don't get that scan in before 8 hours but I've definitely noticed the little gaps if my sugar is going up/down too quickly. I had a blue clock which apparently indicates a time zone change(?! Haven't been anywhere) appear the other day and it lost several hours of the graph! I'm going to contact Abbott and see what they say about that- my DSN says a lot of people are having some decently large gaps that aren't due to lack of scanning.

But yes it does seem to smooth out the readings somewhat, I think that's probably what happened last night. I've just had a few nights of lows so was trying to avoid that, didn't need it swapping for a night of 9/10s!

Hello guys Sorry I haven't been about but I has a severe hypo late Monday night 25th June. My daughter found me and I vomited.
But Warning Alert
some vomit went into my lungs and I contracted a critical pnuemonia and went into ICU and now I am on HDU. My family were told to expect the worse. I know absolutely nothing of that day plus I missed my daughters wedding on .the 30th :(

Oh no, so sorry to hear that, what a terrible experience, and such a shame to have missed the wedding. I was wondering where you were, but assumed you were busy with the wedding. How are you now?

What can I say. Gutted for you, what an absolutely terrible thing. Thank goodness you are on the road to recovery. I wish you well.

First up, let's wish the founder of this great thread and a star of the forum all the best in her recovery from what has been a very challenging time in her life. Get well soon RRB. X X.

Now I need to say that I have NEVER had a hypo at a gig/ concert. There are two reasons for this.....
1. I am a perfect diabetic :wacky:
2. I've never been to a gig/ concert. ( not sure I should be admitting this:) )
@Mel dCP . You've obviously upset a guy with very strong wrist muscles;).

Hey @slip . Just read what you posted again.
You're not implying I have strong wrist muscles are you???????????:):):):):):).
Let's not forget we are twins!!!!!!!!!;););););)
