Type 1'stars R Us

Weston’s not my cup of tea either @therower, one of the good things about life now is that we no longer have to go there! Sorry if I’ve offended anyone who lives there.
 
Now I have been good all day 7.8 this morning, 5.4 at lunch and now at 5.7. BUT that is all about to go belly up. Chinese carry out tonight, beef curry, fried rice, my weekly treat, I am on a fairly low carb diet rest of week. No matter how much I bolus for it always goes into 12-15 overnight

All things in moderation eh

Make sure you take extra insulin just in case you get “some sugar poured on you”, making you “hysterical” and “excitable” bringing out your “animal” instincts and in need of “women” to show you “ love and affection “:):):)

The extra insulin might not be needed if you Rock Rocks til you drop. I think these could go on through the night..

Apparently I’ve not been able to connect to server since Wednesday. Back home now, if there’s only one good thing about home it’s the fact tinternet works.
Great , fantastic, brilliant week with grandkids.
Based at Wedmore just shy of Cheddar Gorge. Wholeheartedly concur Cheddear is wonderful. Visited W-S-M which wasn’t particularly to our tastes. Horses for courses I guess. Burnham on sea best left for another discussion.

Puxford Park. v. good.
Swimming at Wells leisure centre. good.

Digs were outstanding, field/ hill behind offered great views of surroundings. Must have climbed up and down 10 times a day.
Picnics, playing and just sitting and relaxing. Special memories a plenty.

Internet what internet?? If you were in Wedmire that explains your lack of communication - I live just up the road in Mark and Broadband can be a bit ‘hit and miss’ but mobile signals are even worse - I often have to resort to the summer house at the bottom of the garden (145ft) just to send a text! What’s wrong with Burnham? It’s great if you want to retire and live in a retirement or nursing home because there are quite a few of them!!

Hi. Not a special hill:) We stayed at a place called Ashton cottages on the Cheddar Rd. There was a field behind the accommodation which was on a hill, nothing spectacular but when you have a 3 yr old and 6 yr old it becomes a hill. The views were lovely even from such a humble setting.

Evening all, now drunk and ffffeeeeeeeeeellllllliiiinnnngggg rather spiffy :pompous:

Interesting music choices all of which I have listened to over the years however never got in to the Jam and I just don't get Bruce Springsteen.

At the moment I often just random click on things in You Tube which can be fun and end up with diverse things like Arcade Fire all the way to Chinese Man which is French hip hop :D

However I do still listen to things like, Japan ( before they became New Romantics and after) Ultravox (with John Foxx) and a host of other things :D
