In other news, hope you had a good night, @Cumberland - are you feeling better today? @Knikki - I got woken with a low glucose alarm too, 2.8 - yet blood was 5.4. Grrrrr. First few days of a new sensor need a bit of calibrating, I’ve found. @Fairygodmother - knees are a pain in the bum. Hope they can get you out of pain quickly. @kev-w - hope your girlie enjoys her fist day of big school, my lad goes back tomorrow and is in GCSE year...

@Cumberland WOW! A&E hate seeing me come thru the doors. I am VERY outspoken and am up in their faces all the time. UNLESS I end up on a stretcher with paramedics either side lol. You have every right to complain about how long they took with you. Hope you are feeling better today

I woke to an 11 this morning. 3 hours later on a 12.9. Me and insulin are not getting on today! May try a new pen tonite if it carries on like this :)

We all do feel confused at times with with keeping basal and bolus sorted. as I recall on another thread.
Basal rhymes with nasal; chronic and somewhat baneful.
Bolus goes with holus; quick and dawdleless.

Poetry and spelling are part of literary license.
No eye, reflexes or other tests required but there should be a taste test !!

Yeah pain when that happens which is why I switched everything off last night and this is at the end of sensors two weeks, need to stick another one in tomorrow and prep it :)

And FAB!!!!! on the 40

Seen the doc about my knee and now in the process of joining the queues for an MRI scan.
Booked flight to Greece too - extra leg room just in case - but can’t resist the enticement of seeing old friends, good company, good chat, sun still shining, sea still warm - need I continue.

Good afternoon all,

Congrats to @Mel dCP on HbA1c, good to hear @Cumberland blood sugar is behaving now, hope your youngest daughter enjoyed her first day at secondary school @kev-w and that you didn't feel too sentimental watching this next stage of growing up.
Hope the news on the new is good @Fairygodmother

My blood sugar is behaving ok at the moment, not doing anything too unpredictable, but as I write this comment, it probably will.
