I wouldn't say it was a terrible crime, our cats seem to think it's a murderous crime and to be avoided at ALL cost, we manage to do 1 cat and the other 2 are nowhere to be found, it's almost like we have another hidden catflap in the house only they know where it is.

5.7 this morning, currently 5.1 now 2 hrs after breakfast, I must be going through one of those Saintly Diabetes periods where everything just 'works'

Terrible or muderous, Pebbles cat really hates it.
Can't do it today anyway, she needs a health check first, so it's Friday at 9.30 at the vets.

Evening all.

Awful few days with a migraine. (Not had one for over a year). Still not 100%. Levels not been too bad (on the higher side of my target) but ok. Annoying as I am due bloods on Friday.

On a happier note- appointment at the diabetes clinic today/course by someone from Abott & left with a prescription for sensors :) They didn’t mention it at the course and I didn’t think to check my prescription until I got to the pharmacy- but there were no freestyle test strips on the prescription slip. Anyone know how I can get my hands on some? (I will of course call the DSN tomorrow morning).

Greeting my fellow colanders.

Just back from my few days away in Washington ( near Newcastle). Spent a pleasant day at Rainton Meadow walking and bird watching, followed by a day at Metro centre. Bloods were all over the place most of the time, 2 severe hypos, one in Washington shop centre and one at Metro, maybe i should avoid shopping centres

On way back home stopped off in Alnwick at the fabulous wee cafe, Strawberry Lounge, with the worlds largest scones with some very strange flavours. OK so I was a bit naughty and had the coconut and dark chocolate one. Thought I had bolused enough for this but sitting here with a 12.3 so obviously not.

Check out some of the scone flavours

Morning pancreatically challenged chums, hope you are all well.

Another bad start to day with a 12.6. So decided to super pre bolus to give BG a chance to come down. Took my Novorapid plus correction dose just over 1 hour ago and will wait before I have my brekkie.

So now just over an hour later its now at 11.9. just how slow is Novorapid

Morning

Well woke to a rather annoying if slightly inconvenient 2.6 ~butt monkeys~ so inject long active, stuff face go have a shower note that Etch A Sketch is pointing to the pole star so in goes fast acting.

Now sat here at a 7.3 heading south east and a bit of a headache and I have a Report to write which is going to be so Knikkified my boss will take a week to correct it :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious: Wonder if I could get any Gerry Anderson reference in there as well? :bookworm:

Other than that all's well.

And, last as always nice one @Mel dCP

On a last note do we have an MIA as I am not sure I have seen @Alison54321 around for a while, has anyone seen or heard is she OK? :chicken:
