Hi,
Are there any suggestions out there for a type 2 who would like a good family friendly lchf cookbook?
I’ve been searching today and just don’t know what to go for if any.

I would advise caution when buying cookbooks. I have a few, but the nutritional information is lacking. Better to start off with the links given abov.

I’ve recently bought Jamie Oliver’s 5 ingredients book. It is patently not a low carb cookbook but there are quite of really good low carb recipes in it that are simple to make.
Also because every meal only has 5 ingredients in, it is quite simple to see how recipes can be made low carb by removing or exchanging the carby bit for something else.
I know Jamie Oliver is a bit marmite, but personally I like this book a lot.

There are a lot of low carb recipe books on Amazon. The BBC's " Good Food Eatwell Low-Carb Cooking " is a good one

I look on Amazon, I try to look at how the nutritional information is presented. Then I look on eBay.

I can recommend The Low-Carb Gourmet by Karen Barnaby. Her KFC alternative is to die for.
