@liam1955 that was a lovely post about making friends on here and you are so right. @13lizanne I watched the same programmes as you but I didn't like the end of Casualty. We finished telegraph prize crossword in 1 hour 10 minutes today which was record breaking!

Oh, Hello @mo53 your home. Didn't enjoy Casualty tonight, do you watch Holby City too? But, it is so true the thread I put especially the "crazy" bit!!! Did you have a lovely meal at your friends? How was your blood sugars after? Hope you didn't have too many sherries

@liam1955 yes I watch Holby City too. My two soaps. We had a lovely roast chicken dinner, cabbage, carrots, gravy and a roast parsnip. But I've just discovered the vast number of carbs in parsnip. I haven't checked my bs. I'll do it now and let you know.

Hey @mo53 - that is good. Record what you had and your result in your food diary for future reference. And might I add = Good on you eating Chicken too. (I'm thinking of your gout) If I lived where you do, I'd eat nothing but sea food galore, and just think I would even be 'brainy' too!!!. I'm hungry - off to get a cheesy wotsit sandwich.

So sorry to hear this @Alzebra. Hope your ear heals and that you feel better tomorrow.

@Alzebra
Pleased to hear your fasting reading on the other thread but how are you feeling today? Best wishes for your recovery.

Its a beautiful night here in Canberra
Mowed the Lawn
Hovered and Mopped the floors
Went to the Pub for Tea

Doesn't get any better than that. Back to work in the morning

Cheers

I'm back from the hospital, where a very lovely surgeon reattached the piece of my ear! It may or may not be a long term solution but will at least act as a "biological bandage" in the meantime. Feeling so much better now that I've had a hefty dose of local anesthetic! Thanks to everyone for the support

Hi everyone,
Missed coming on yesterday as colitis played up all through Friday night & most of yesterday morning. Definitely a fasting day yesterday with plenty of exercise (even if they were short runs!!!) Surprisingly my levels were pretty good 8.3 @ 7.30 am down to 6.3 and then 2 at 5.6.

@Alzebra, sorry to hear of your accident and hope you now have a rapid recovery.
