Hi @liam1955. I lost the first stone very quickly because I switched to eating lchf and the weight just dropped off. But now I'm losing at about 1lb per week, which feels sustainable. I have a thin hungry husband and two teenage boys so there is always plenty of temptation in the kitchen cupboards! In fact, one of my sons is slightly underweight and we worry slightly about him needing to put on weight.@TooManyCrisps - Well Done YouI praise you in losing 1 stone 6lbs and since January, that is really, really good. My Diabetes Nurse advised me to lose it slowly about 3 - 4lbs over a fortnight, so I began in November, 2015 and have only lost 1 stone 4lbs, have only got 10lbs left to lose and it is being bloody stubborn. I am now having 3 -4 crackers, buttered with piece of cheese at 11p.m, and my fbs was 5.8 this morning. Will continue this for a couple of nights and hope all my fbs remain in the 5s? As I am finding going from after dinner (7.30pm) is far too long fasting overnight.
Mo it's because you are tightening up your figure and strengthening your muscles I bet you feel much tighter about your middle and waist?Hello everyone. I hope you all are having a good day. The weather has been beautiful here. I went swimming again and did the equivalent of 45 lengths in the hour. I think I'm getting faster. If I could go every day it would be great. The funny thing is the more I stick to my LCHF diet, and the more I swim the more snug my costume feels!! Lol it should be feeling looser!
Lol at least I won't be as bad as I was when I was a teenager, I was always underweight. I only weighed 8 and a half stone when I left school!Another adventurous day for you @Diamum5972 keep going like this and you'll be disappearing, you will have lost so much weight!
