All my cupboards are called glory holes and should have signs saying 'Enter at your own risk!!!'
I'd need a few of those sign for my wardrobes - I have 2 of those full of the stuff that won't go anywhere else but I haven't thrown out !!
Well you never know when it'll come in handy or back into fashion (that's my excuse anyway)
I agree completely, it happens to me, I'm pottering about the house and I discover I need such and such a thing for whatever it is I'm doing and I know just what I need is on one of those boxes in the wardrobe.
@liam1955 now I've seen your dark side (plus those hot cross buns) you appear to be a bad boy like me lmaoIt's a good job I am not being Sponsored!!! I sat watching a film this afternoon and ate half of a Terry's Chocolate Orange ( partner had half too), but the best thing is I had saved that chocolate orange since Christmas.!!
No. I'm feeling a lot better though and less sleepy so good.Hi @eddie1968 - The "problem" is I like chocolate (especially white) and I am easily persuaded to eat it. How are you keeping now and have you heard yet? From the sleep clinic?
I had a delivery from IKEA a few weeks ago and I kept the box, it rather big so today the gaff tap came out and while I was in the aforementioned 'under-the-stairs' I found clip-on bicycle lights which are now on the gaffed-up box and it can be a car or space ship or anything - not for me !! my 6 year-old niece is coming on Wednesday
No - I've bucked the trend and lost a lot of weight since being put on insulin two years ago. I should hear from the Sleep Clinic soon. My GP is more concerned about my stomach issues and I have lost more weight inadvertently. You might have a UTI @liam1955 so get a wee sample in. I have Multistix that check for Glucose, Ketones, Blood, PH, Leukocytes (UTI infections) and Bilirubin (liver problems). They are handy to check your urine now and again when you feel unwell. They are the same test strips DSNs and GPs use when spot testing your urine.. The weather has been fab here. calm and sunny. I stay in "storm alley" and this storm was unusually in the very south of the UK and I didn't get affected by it so glad. I've had 90+ MPH and 100 MPH gusts here in the past and have had a good few roof repairs and power cuts.@eddie1968 - That is terrible having to wait all this time for results. Are you about due to see your GP soon? And hope that your results are there. Lighter nights and longer days and decent weather and I can get onto eating Salads and get rid of a stubborn 10lbs that is "stalking" me. It started off here in York bloody miserable with Rain and then by lunch time it was gloriously sunny, but still cool enough to wear a coat/jacket. Have you had good weather today? I was taking Dapagliflozin along side Insulin and Metformin, but stopped the Dapagliflozin 11 days ago because of 'burning wee' and my fastings are not good. So, gone back on the Dapagliflozin and will cut down Insulin by 2 units to begin with. You take Insulin I believe? Do you find you put on weight using it ?
