I went in a gym session for 12 weeks prescribed by the doc about 2 years ago

I couldn't stand the way the posers in there looked at our little group with disdain there was one guy yes good lucking yes mr muscles who posed so much in front of the full length mirror flexing his muscles and just had a complete air of smugness about him

Anyway I stuck the 12 weeks and our little group really encouraged one and other

I'm no gym God nor do I want to be I would rather go to KFC then the gym

Saying that the instructors were fine as were an overwhelming majority of regulars but that one mans look that he gave our group put me off ever going back

@13lizanne - @mo53 - @ickihun - @debrasue got to Hospital at 10.50am for my Appointment at 11am and was told the Consultant was running 45 minutes late! (had height, weight, blood pressure done by the Nurse) I was finally seen by the Liver Specialist at 11.50am was given a quick examination of my Abdomen and told the results of the Fibroscan I had in February was medium level and cause for some concern. So, I have to undergo an Ultrasound Scan to see just how much scarring of my Liver there is, if the results are not clear enough, then I will have to undergo a Liver Biopsy. Was given 2 Blood request forms and sat and waited another bloody hour to have bloods done for: LFT, Thyroid, Iron Toxicidity, Coeliac Screen, Antinuclear Antibodies, and Hepatitis A - B - C. So, just waiting for the Ultrasound Scan appointment now.
And this is to @ickihun - in 3 days of increasing my evening Insulin I have put on 3lbs (my weight done by the Nurse said I am 13st 3lbs - and I took my Boots off too!) So, Insulin is being decreased as from today. I am even contemplating using up the 28 tablets of Dapagliflozin? Earliest appointment to see my GP is the 20th June, since stopping the Dapagliflozin by evening by feet and ankles are swollen with Odema (need Diuretics). That's it folks.:)

I like Sports Direct too, my son lives in tracksuits and trainers and they have clothes that fit him! He's 6 ft 3 and has size 13 feet ...
We've got one on retail park just up the road. They were having a closing down sale in 2004 when I first moved here. Still open.

Hi gang, not sure I've caught up on everyone's posts and if I've "liked" something that the content wasn't really likeable "hospital waiting times and such" it's an acknowledgement or a hug....sorry for those I've missed...Been to hot to even read posts

Never done it before thought I'd just throw stuff in pan & hope, I did lightly fry chicken & aubergine first, cut into small pieces. Hope everyone's well

Had leftover broth from yesterday and it's chippy tea tonight. Too hot to cook. Only eat half the chips...always forget to ask for small portion but dogs enjoy the leftovers

How are you feeling now, Eddie?
Still feeling sore and expect the meds to take a week to clear this up. Gosh it's hot. It's 27C here and thunderstorms expected later this evening. :)

Reduce insulin and take my supplement called r-ala 100mg x2 a day. It works. ♡♥♡

Hang in there, hun - this can't last forever... :depressed:
Yes, it came over very heavy and close here an hour or two ago, but it seems to be lifting again now and there's a bit of a breeze, which is nice. I've lurked indoors all afternoon - far too sticky outside! (The weather, that is, not me - I'm only sticky when I'm baking cakes LOL)
Hugs x
