I had flu jab, & this time I was very ill took forever to get better had to have antibiotics & steroids, apparently this last flu jab was not so effective the tv news said, each year is for different strains, really knocked me about, hopefully your just not off colour & not a cold, stress really upsets my bgs, hopefully you will be ok soonEeuw! I once saw a customer yawn hugely in the cashiers face and I thought that was rude! Poor you!
Yippee! Bonus wi-fi in holiday let!
I am popping in to report I'm having a lovely time in south-west Scotland,(waves to Scottish friends) my blood sugars are coping well with someone else's cooking (though, I will only have half the portion of lentils next time... I forgot that one) and the walking we're doing of a more up and down nature than I get at home is dealing with any other highs!
Thank you for the flu jab reminders. I get one offered at work, which I did take up last year, but my GP got deeply confused about how to record that on my records so I may get mine there for simplicity.
Hugs and good thoughts to all who need them - I've had a quick read back through the last few days worth of the thread.
Are you by any chance at Dalbeattie?Yippee! Bonus wi-fi in holiday let!

Always a bonus ..... I buy EE data sims from ebay just for my holiday.
Exactly what happened to me, and antibiotics & steroids sent my sugars sky high, I was walking outside to try get sugars down, took months to get back to normal, kept returningI can relate to that @maureen5752 after my flu jab this year I had the worst flu ever and it came back 2 more times. I am rethinking whether or not I will get it again.
Yes, we're all learning - diabetes can be a tough taskmaster, although I think this website is fairly easy to navigate, and very supportive.Thank you i think i wasnt asking for help a i felt i was responding to a thread i am still learning with the web site and diabetes
Maybe the weather? Or maybe you're coming down with something? My bloods are all over the place today, I wonder why?
I had two bouts of 'flu after my last jab in September 2015 (and it really was 'flu - knocked me off my feet for a couple of weeks at a time, high temperature, terrible muscle and joint pain, sore skin - the works). The Flu strains haven't really changed in the jab - California A is the main one. Could be other non A strains are about or other similar corona viruses that floor you.
Poor Ron - I hope he's OK...Rons just had another seizure. Hes covered in sweat
Not really , things just keep happening.Poor Ron - I hope he's OK...
