Its all sort of connected. Hitting myself in the face with the hammer may not actually contributed to getting double-vision a few days later (according to the CT scan). The MRI will look for something that is pressing on the nerve that works the eye muscles. None of the things that might do that are particularly exciting. I won't second guess any results but I will post back when I know something. And all hugs are gratefully received!
And @Liam1955hi all have been online and have seen the results of the MRI and have osteoarthritis of the spine there was no info on the MRI scan of my brain so will have to wait for the letter .
thanks all for your continued support .
Cheers Clive!(Hugsx1000)
It took just over 2 1/2 weeks for my results to come in but I have access to my records online I'm still waiting for the letter from hospitalAnd @Liam1955
Can either of you give me any idea how long it takes for the wheels to move between the scan and an interpretation? MRI was today, and I'm seeing my GP on Tuesday. Is it likely he would have news from the consultant for me?
Thanks for the info.It took just over 2 1/2 weeks for my results to come in but I have access to my records online I'm still waiting for the letter from hospital
Hello Nessa, what has moved? Can you give a link as to what you are referring to so we can give an answer?Um I'm not understanding any of this . What has moved?
Mine was marked urgent as brain scan was for MS and typical NHS still waiting for results on that oneThanks for the info.
I'm short on time so I'll put some pressure on the GP on Tuesday, I think!
I'm being selfish as it's just two weeks away I'm worrying about. But I may have to cancel two days before the flight, which means airport hotel, flights, accommodation and car hire.Mine was marked urgent as brain scan was for MS and typical NHS still waiting for results on that one
I know how u feel I was the same but no matter what we are dealt we just have to get on with it and live our life's I'm hoping that I can continue doing the job I enjoy but at the same time I know its going to be hard and painful at times and no doubt it will get me down but we always bounce back.I'm being selfish as it's just two weeks away I'm worrying about. Thanks William it says I have multiple lumbar arthritis but doesn't go into detail I guess that the letter will give more info@eldergarth - Hi Ron, I found out 2 years ago that I had Arthritis of the spine (last 3 Lumbar Vertebrae) when I had a MRI Scan for 2 Herniated Disc's and had suffered with Sciatica for 4 months. My GP referred me to see the Rheumatologist I am seeing now and she intends to find out which type of Arthritis it is? ( My Mother had Osteoarthritis). William
Ron do you feel happier now you know your medical status? Thanks William it says I have multiple lumbar arthritis but doesn't go into detail I guess that the letter will give more info
Ron is seeing the GP this afternoon about something else now.Ron do you feel happier now you know your medical status?
I admire both you and William. I'm impressed when people realise nothing is going to stop them enjoying their life.
Thank god for painkillers thou.
In my first birthing experience I could have kissed the inventor of the epidural.
Pain relief is going to be the key and meds to control seizures.
I think your at the top of your tree with this. A bit tweeking and good days will be excellent and bad days will be a disappointment.
It must have been a very scary time for you both.
Can you also see the end of this tunnel?
Thanks Vicky it is a big relief but still some questions still not answered so more fighting yet to be doneRon do you feel happier now you know your medical status?

That's good news, mate....I think!!Hi all interesting visit to the docs today originally went because of my rectal bleeding just asked if felt any lumps down there then went on about constipation then onto meds causing it as if I didn't know that then prescribed laxido .
Asked about my MRI results and he confirmed osteoarthritis in the upper and lower end of my spine can't remember the numbers at min and increased my gabapentin and my Co drydamol .
But the good news is there was no signs of MS in my brain scan .
Asked about the seizures and was told it was my body reacting to all the problems and not MS ????
