Hi 0William just prescribed me laxido and said to keep a watch on the bleeding and to make appointment if blood turns black ???

@eldergarth - Hi Ron, Yeah, good stuff the Laxido and sugar free. I get it on prescription as the Iron Tablets for my Aneamia do tend to make me a wee bit constipated. But, a bowlful of Branflakes work just as good I find. William:)

I've found I'm wheat intolerant so have to have the free from range of cereal bit of a pain but that's life .my laxido is on repeat prescription two sachets a day first day of taking so guess will start to see results in day or two

Took a day off from the laptop/tv/phone screen yesterday. I had the full migraine treatment all day, complete with vomiting! I'm absolutely desperate to find out the results of the MRI. I don't know whether to assume the Bank Holiday weekend means the consultant isn't looking at the results or if she has looked at them and all is well. Roll on Tuesday.

Unfortunately they don't like to rush and if anything like my local hospital they only class Mon-Fri as a day not weekends or bank holidays .
Big hugs mate and hope you get answers soon

Hi @eldergarth because old blood which has travelled out of your system would be black. So many sensitive capillaries in the lower part of the rectum.
I'm assuming gp did inspect blood? Not all would but red blood has oxygen in it. Once oxygen gone blood turns black. Alot of blood can indicate piles. Red blood from piles. GP or a surgery nurse would be the ones to diagnose piles.
I hope this helps. :)

That's what junior doctors were striking about recently. They only want to work mon-fri with skeleton staff weekends. The consultants supported them as they would be next. Although I've had appointments on a saturday.

I'm missing all my type 2 buddies
Had a well earned holiday. Day trips but York was engulfed by hen parties. Mostly from Sunderland. Ha ha
I had a smashing time at railway museum with @Liam1955 and partners and kids. My kids loved my DUK chums. They can interact better with adults sometimes. They loved the company and their chocolate treat. :) :) :)

Sighs... it's been a lovely summer, but, one day more then it's back to work. Early indications are I'm working in the same areas as last year, but until I have a timetable in my hands, I won't believe it.

I seem to have come through a fortnight's holiday in one piece on the blood sugars front. I did relax my usual food regime a bit - partly because the walking was a bit more strenuous (Less distance, but much more hilly) but partly because I wasn't cooking and didn't want to be any more awkward than I needed to be! However, the average over the fortnight was not too outrageous. Neither have I put any weight on!

I won't leave it as long before I go back to Scotland again. There were good and complicated reasons for not doing so during the last few years, but they are no longer as valid.
