I agree also - I also think that all patients at A&E should have to pay £5 per visit. I heard last year that one woman visited A&E 250 times in one year. But who will tell the Government? Bit like the story of the mice voting that someone should put a bell around the cat's neck - no volunteers.
 
You wouldn't get me paying a single penny at kingsmill hospital. Just look on their web site for patient feedback.

Was just looking on the internet . It's suppose to come from Germany and you can buy it over the counter at pharmacist. I've never seen it before suppose to be used by athletes.
 
Good afternoon, my lovely friends,

I have had a good, peaceful day today and I have just arrived home from an appointment at the North Lambeth Treatment Team with my Care Coordinator, a Senior Occupational Therapist who informed me that I am going to undergo a full scale psychiatric assessment with a qualified consultant psychiatrist in the New Year because, she said, occasionally people,e on the autistic spectrum can present with underlying psychiatric illnesses. The psychiatrist is a very nice, friendly, helpful lady who will assess my state of mind and provide me with an adequate diagnosis and treatment that I haven't really been the recipient of outside of the Lambeth Autism Service's diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome. My Care Coordinator will be by my side at the assessment and will be a support to me if my social communication and social interaction in my Asperger Syndrome is impaired.

My blood glucose reading in my type 2 diabetes mellitus today is 5.7 Millimoles Per Litre.

Hello Johnny @autisticwonder1970 That's good news about your upcoming assessment, the consultant will be deciding whether medication or other types of treatment will be of help to you if you receive a diagnosis of bi-polar disorder. I'm glad that you are enjoying your day and that is an excellent blood glucose reading. Well done Johnny

Still bad when I exhurt myself, e.g walking or anything other than rest. I feel better thou as no longer struggling when I'm resting. Pain in pelvis now in rest (again) and walking but I'm thankful as I have heart scan on 18th, 19th for diabetes an 5th jan for msk assessment. That should sort me out, if nothing else. lol
 
Good Afternoon, my friends,

I've had a nice, enjoyable day today. My Carer came and ran me a nice, cool bath, and I washed myself very meticulously in all the "nooks and crannies" and dried myself thoroughly and creamed my skin with Johnson's Baby Lotion all over. My friend Mary came round and had several cups of coffee that I made for her. My Carer also put my dirty clothes in the washing machine. I also took all my prescribed tablets for this morning and my Lixisenatide glucagon-like peptide 20 mcg injection and my Carer recorded all my actions in my communications folder. My blood glucose was 5.9 mmol today.

Agony in walking this morning. Ouch! On the plus side breathing wasn't too bad. Worse in colder weather, me thinks but let's see how tomorrow is.
I'm afraid to say too much but I think breathing is getting better, or is it just wishful thinking?
 
I last saw the Rheumatologist in August and she was was arranging Bone Scans for me (4months ago) - she has changed her diagnosis from Psoriatic Arthritis to Osteoarthritis but still not sure hence the Bone Scans.
I have rang the Rheumatology Department and spoke with the Secretary just an hour ago, to be told the request for the Scans never got submitted - but it will as from today and would I accept a cancelled appointment at short notice? = Yes, Thank You I would.
(I am really "P****d Off" now!!!)

Sorry to hear that William looks like its spreading up-to York it was on our local news this morning that Leicester was getting a lot of complaints about delays for scans never mind our hospital hope they get you sorted soon

Same here. We have a massive new, state-of-the-art flagship hospital in Bristol, and they're making a right dog's dinner of things. Along with the usual interminable waiting lists, lost notes, vanishing appointments and the revolving-door attitude of the consultants, they have come up with some other interesting new ways to drive patients crazy.
For instance, the department that's furthest from Reception - and we're talking a brisk 15-minute walk - is orthopaedics, which has a good many patients needing replacement hips and knees, among other things. So, obviously, some bright spark decided "Orthopaedics? Yes, let's put that right over here and make those bu**ers walk!"
And the hospital - which opened in 2015 - has 800 beds, without considering outpatients, so it's a little mystifying why they have so far only provided parking spaces for about 400 cars. (And up until this summer it was only half that number.)
