Type 2 Life

Steady up on the carbs @autisticwonder1970 you know your blood sugar reading are so much better when you dont have too many cheerios and sandwiches :)
@PenfoldAPD sorry your cold is a long term resident guest, I thought I was quite altenative, a loo that I ordered weeks ago turned up yesterday, I suggested I plant the xmas tree in it:smug:. But a house made of bread?????

Now resisting the temptation to have cheese on toast:banghead:
:banghead:

I've been having cheese on LivLife bread toasted recently. Love it - 7.6g of carbs for 2 slices. Noshing on Marmite cheese now :) Off to Rogue One later but I will ignore the popcorn and have a nice large glass of Malbec instead - obviously all due to my dietary requirements!

Get sniffing on that Olbas oil or any mental oil (vicks) it will clear out your tubes. You'll cry and cough but it needs to come out. Leaving you with runny nose, don't forget to use balmed tissues to avoid Rudolf nose. Runny clear nose is a good sign. No infection!
Give it that last kick to show it whose boss. ;)

Someone did offer me Vicks to rub on my chest at the Turkish bath on Wednesday - it certainly helped. Feeling worse again this afternoon, good lord when will it go. I've told myself no swimming until Monday at the earliest and thankfully it is almost the weekend :) Christmas shopping all done so I can chill and relax! Have a great weekend @ickihun look after yourself x

Supposed to have been around lunch
Call them Ron. They're a nightmare! Call THEM. Insist on an approx. time. Maybe they're hoping you'll call 111 instead. Call gp and if no help, call 111 please. Promise?

Is Codeine and chocolate from the same plant? I'm giddy after taking my tablet. Its very noticable since I've been so down lately. I bet as addictive as chocolate?
What a life! ;)
Codeine is an opiate made from the unripe seed pods of opium poppies (like morphine), and yes, it's addictive!

If he's no better tomorrow he's calling 111. His bg levels have been doing a Merry dance today. Started of at a massive 14, two hours later on 11 then six hours after that on an 8.

What!!!
What's going on at your gp's practice? Have they received your complaint from months ago? Did you get a response?
You need to escolate it if you're being ignored. PM me if you need my help. ♡
There absolutely useless. Haven't heard nothing. Hence why I've stopped going to them. Need to see one but it's nothing serious . Will be changing in new year . Not sure what Ron's doing. He's gone to bed. He's still not sleeping.

It doesn't seem to bad tonight . Mostly flares up in the morning. When he sits down you can hear him breathing then he has to cough and the mucus or fluid goes. This happens several times a day.

Hey....hello you lot. I'm pleased to see we have a lovely new home. This morning my blood glucose was a healthy 4.8 fasting. I'm ok with that number. Had my eye screening this morning too. How long does it take for these darn drops to completely wear off? I've got my sunglasses on right now, which admittedly makes me feel like a rock star. Wearing them indoors as I'm lying down, TV on, iPad & nibbly things to hand (salted popcorn is my treat today.) One is allowed to self indulge when one is a tad delicate.

I love this diabetic otter. Many animals get diabetes.

Been worse since he had the patches. Although I have noticed it before on and off. The cold symptoms we think we're a side effect of the patches .
