they did say about the Tramadol but they think my body is getting to used to the opioid drugs so they are going to try rotating different drugs every 6 months so it will be 6 months dihydrocodiene then 6 months tramadol depending what happens with the amitriptyline@eldergarth - Hi Ron, Have to agree with @debrasue on the X-Ray. Will say a little prayer for you and keep my fingers, toes all crossed for you. I am sorry Ron that the Butec Patches did not work for you! I have been on them 6 weeks - and I feel that they need increasing possibly to 15mg? I cannot reach for the Tramadol to compensate because not allowed to take it with being on Buprenorphine (the Patches). And the liquid Morphine is locked away and R has hid the key - I asked him to do that.
Yes, Amitriptyline is supposed to be good for Back Pain and to help ease Neuropathic Pain and also Depression. I wonder why you have not been offered Tramadol?
(A bit behind with answering messages - went to bed late last night)

Hi William, I haven't done any baking for a while. So when I do a trip to your neck of the woods might be in order. XLet's hope very soon Ron that 1 of these Pain Relief Drugs is the right one for you. = The sooner the better.
Sorry to hear that your HBA1C has gone up to 50, but you will soon get that down. So, no more cakes for you then Ron!
@tina_marie you can send them lovely cakes you bake onto me now? = Yes?

It's true, @Liam1955 and @eldergarth, that our bodies can quite quickly become accustomed to opioids, leading to larger and larger dosages being required to produce the same pain-killing effects. I have oxycodone on prescription (synthetic morphine) to take when I really need it, but I noticed very early on that the more often I resort to it, the less effective it is. The rotation therapy is a very good solution.they did say about the Tramadol but they think my body is getting to used to the opioid drugs so they are going to try rotating different drugs every 6 months so it will be 6 months dihydrocodiene then 6 months tramadol depending what happens with the amitriptyline
yes the nurse we seen did seem to understand the problems i am having and really wanted to push this rotation of drugs strongly and if it works then great i'm up to trying anything once to get some relief and hopefully some normality again now thats optimisticIt's true, @Liam1955 and @eldergarth, that our bodies can quite quickly become accustomed to opioids, leading to larger and larger dosages being required to produce the same pain-killing effects. as long as its not the 17th got my neurology appointment thenOh that would be flipping fantastic, I think Vicky @ickihun was talking about a meet up in March ? - Am I correct in this Vicky?
I have tried full fat yogurt just a large soon but it didn't work well, how much cream should I take to stop liver dump.K

It could be trapped fluid hun. Lets see what gp says? There is a cavity which can accumulate fluid below the lung sacs.It was just below my left lung Vicky
No nothing. Just stretches in my arms and circular movements. She didnt want me to do anything strenuous due to chest pains and cardio investigations. So nothing for back. Not sure if she will increase my exertion now on a nebulizer which should be delivered tomorrow afternoon. It has been confirmed I have heart disease and awaiting a procedure so she will be reluctant to start anything heavy, me neither.@ickihun - Vicky, What exactly is the Physio doing with you? Giving you a massage? Showing you techniques on exercises to strengthen your Back? And do you feel it is helping? W
Mouthful and if stayed the same level to night bg test I'd be happy with that. Maybe experiement with pork scratchings or cheese once you see the difference.I have tried full fat yogurt just a large soon but it didn't work well, how much cream should I take to stop liver dump.K
I would prefer after angiograph hun. Girl back to work this week who books the procedure. She has been given my mobile number to give me the date. Cardio nurse said it would be within a month of failed ct angiogram. Even mr ickihun not travelling til its been done. Advised today to learn to relax. Ive been given app details again to use and floating in swimming pool if i stagnate getting ready/undressed for pool. Nebulizer might fix all that? Hense walking without being out of breath. Breathlessness comes with heart disease though. I just have to suck it up!Oh that would be flipping fantastic, I think Vicky @ickihun was talking about a meet up in March ? - Am I correct in this Vicky?

Yayyy! Well done, Johnny - 6 days!Hi and a very good evening to all my lovely friends,
Had a lovely birthday yesterday Sunday 12/02/17 and Lee cooked a beef brisket joint, roast potatoes, cauliflower and sprouts out of my ingredients my Carer got on Thursday. From Lily and Gary I got 1 pair of jogging bottoms and a top, from Steve and Mary I got a pair of slippers, from my elderly Dad I got £15.00, and from Graham and Kathryn a set of 4 mugs for my flat. As well as that I got lots of cards. Lee kept my company so that I wouldn't get lonely on my birthday.
I'm now 6 days quit from cigarettes and am using patches and mouth sprays.
My blood sugar today was 5.2 millimoles per litre.
Thank you all very much for your lovely birthday greetings and well wishes. I love you all very much indeed.
From
Johnny Baker.
