Type 2 Life

Hi there, blood glucose readings aren't an exact science, if you had taken another reading immediately from a different finger it could quite likely have given yet another different reading. We check our bg values to see what our meals do to our blood sugar in order to keep control of our diabetes. A small fluctuation of point six is fine. Your HbA1c test, usually done by your GP surgery will give you an accurate picture of how good your diabetic control is. Meanwhile try not to worry about small fluctuations, both 6.9 and 7.5 are within range for two hours after eating. Good luck!

Yesterday Ron got the all clear from his echocardiogram. So still no closer as to finding out what's causing his problems . At least we now know it's not his heart. X

Good afternoon, my friends,

I forgot my medication this morning because I went to visit my friend Lily and her mentally ill son Gary who I knew from Effra Day Centre in Brixton. I watched Cbeebies on Lily's freeview telly and reset the filtration pipe connected to the pump on her fish tank so air would pass into the tank and help her fish, old blue eyes, to breathe. I also gave gary lessons on gardening and he weeded all the front and back gardens and Lily made us bacon, scalloped potatoes, fried egg, and tomatoes with 2 bread rolls each. While i was out Lee cleaned my sitting room and kitchen and when i arrived home it looked very nice and clean. i had a mug of coffee with coffee whitener and 3 sugars but i wish i could have stuck with sweetener for sake of my blood sugars. my blood sugar at 3:56 pm bst was 9.2 mmol. took my medication at 4:01 pm bst.

lots of love from johnny xxxx

I found out I was twitching because of my beta blocker for fast heart beat.
I'm edgy because of hypos which catch me out and I'm tired because of nearly every tablet has tiredness as a side affect.
My 4 medical conditions cause lethagic symptoms. I'm stuffed really. Ha ha
I'm surprised I'm ever awake.

I think Ron has same but additional leg weakness and other weaknesses.

He went to the boat club today two hours later he's home and feeling tired plus he's short of breath so had to use angina spray. X

I was short of breath today due to fixing a hypo. Its slowly getting better. My sugar is all over today due to all the stress of yesterday. I'm no good for nothing today.

I'm sure Ron can get much better than he is now. If he had my gp he would have him sorted out.
He needs a new gp. A new look at his problem. If only he'd agree!

Move to your neck of the woods.

Good Morning, my lovely, fine friends, now, today, in the early hours of the morning, 2:57 AM BST on Sunday, June 4th 2017 AD,

I'm feeling really anxious following the terror attacks in Borough Market and London Bridge and an incident in Vauxhall, just down the South Lambeth Road from me where an innocent bystander was stabbed. Up the Borough, a suicide bomber was photographed with canisters/detonators strapped to his body. London's on lockdown. I just want to inform you I'm safely indoors but I can hear lots of emergency vehicles heading up West. I feel for the victims and their families. What a terrible thing to happen so soon after Manchester!

I'm glad you're safe Johnny. You're right, this is a terrible thing to happen. Sending you big hugs xx

Glad to hear your safe , and we're all here for you if you feel you need to talk to someone . X

I used to work there on a saturday night. Night shifts galore! Its busselling area even at that time of night.
Staff at London bridge train station was on lock down too. Trains running straight threw, not stopping at LB still.
I'm so pleased I'm out of London now. My kids are safe in bed at that time, me too sometimes.
Weird how things happen for the best sometimes!

On a different note. Rain expected today. Luckily I got all my washing done with help from mr ickihun yesterday.
Friday was very very stressful and a painful walking morning.
I've filled in a form for some transport help. Not sure the outcome yet.
Palpatations are back on an evening. I only notice them when I'm lying down to relax for sleep.
I want to perfect diet and insulin daily. Basal insulin is superb. One less worry.
I think palpatations related to stressful days. I need to get rid of them naturally as betablockers come with more side affects the stronger it gets.

Good Morning, my lovely, sweet friends on the www.diabetes.co.uk Type 2 Life Thread of the Forum,

Thank you very much indeed, @tina_marie and @debrasue for your thoughtful, kind words. Yes, I'm very much in a safe haven here in my little flat on the periphery of Vauxhall and Stockwell in the SW8 postal district. God is looking after me very proficiently and providing for me, too. I'm just watching Church Without Walls on Revelation Christian Television and The Lord's My Shepherd, I'll Not Want from Psalm 23 is being performed by evangelical worship song musician Stuart Townend at the moment. It's giving me so much comfort and consolation to know that God Almighty loves me and cares for me. The words are on the verge of moving me to tears because they convey the promises of the Lord through the Psalmist David's words by the inspiration of the Father.

I'm praying for you, @ickihun that you achieve a positive outcome for your application for transport assistance for your mobility/health problems. You really need it, and I think it would greatly foresee a positive quality of life for you. I'm so sorry you had pain in walking on Friday, I pray that it improves, better still is banished completely. You're a lovely person, as are a great number of people on the Forum whom I love very much indeed and am indebted to and grateful for.

My blood glucose was 6.2 mmol/L this morning and I feel very happy God helped me achieve that.

Have a lovely day, my friends, thank you for your contributions to this thread, they give me motivation, encouragement and empathy and I believe they're all wonderful Holy Spirit commodities/qualities.

Lots of love to you all in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,

Johnny Baker, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome xXx.

Hello Johnny, Are you still feeling ok? Are you watching TV or doing something else now? It's lovely how you appreciate and pray for your friends, I appreciate and pray for you too. I hope that the rest of your day will be enjoyable and fun. God Bless xx

You are such a kind, caring person, Johnny - always thinking about and helping others - and I'm so glad that your faith gives you so much comfort and positivity. We all need that in our lives.
Big hugs xx
