Type 2 Life

@eddie1968 - 2 friends of mine: 1 has a machine and mask that he wears to bed every night to help his breathing. Other friend she has I think? Sleep Apnoea and takes tablets to keep her awake during the day. So, you have had all the tests, and just waiting to obtain the machine from the NHS?

Yes. It's page 100 of this thread so party time lol ! :p

I should have said @liam1955 I think they will give me a CPAP machine and some stimulant drug to freshen me up and hopefully I can get back on track. My GP signed me off for 4 weeks on Friday there, not fit for much and have been told not to drive for the time being. :)

Got to go and eat, had lunch at 11.30am. Enjoyed our 'banter' it was fun. Chat later everybody:):)

Just back from hosp son recovered enough to eat a bar of chocolate and drink Irn Bru. He has a huge black eye which has closed and his face is all scraped where he hit the carpet, burst lip too but he seems OK otherwise. He's to see neurologist later on but they think the episode was caused by a bad ear infection that he's had for weeks now. What an awful fright we got. Thanks @Diamum5972 and @mo53 for your good wishes, I'm sure that they helped :)
Phew! What a relief, I can sympathise with you 100%. My older brother has been epileptic for 36 years and has severe memory loss and learning difficulties because of it. He also insists on living on his own! Luckily he lives opposite us and I have a spare key to his flat so I can pop in and see him whenever I want. DS gets upset when his uncle has a fit and hospitals stress them both out so DS stays at home while I go to the hospital with M. Thank heaven for mobiles!

My 1st posting in here and hope you don't mind an intruder.
Husband and son have the dreaded lurgy (man flu) at the moment, so I am trying my hardest to stay out of their way, it would help if we lived in a mansion!!

I don't know how to do the @_______, but just want to send best wishes to everyone, especially those having extra problems at the moment.
Welcome to the forum! If you have any questions or just want to let off steam, feel free - this is such a friendly forum, everyone is happy to help

Hello @liam1955 . Nope, playing and entertaining a 2 1/2 year old all morning and then making soup and cakes. We could play in the garden this morning so that was good fun lol. Have you recovered from your grocery shopping? :)

@mo53 - Like the cake bit! Any left then? You know I could have come out to the coast this morning - wouldn't taken me long from York! (then I could have got out of grocery shopping):)

@liam1955 . You really will do anything to get out of the shopping! Ha ha ha. By the way, are you putting your food diary on the forum ? I've been meaning to ask. I'm not sure you'd like the cakes anyway. I'm not sure I do.

@13lizanne - Aw Bless. - You ought to have yourself a glass or two for medicinal purposes - of course, and have an early night. Take Care Anna. - William x
