Yes, it's lovely having longer daylight hours and next weekend the clocks go forward so we'll have evening walks again. Enjoy your walk Eddie

@eddie1968 - Hi. Much better today than yesterday - my bones just ache! And it certainly cannot be "growing pains"!!!! I think (?) It could be the drug been taking for the past 7 months comming out my system? Thanks for asking Eddie. How are you doing? Have you heard from your sleep study yet?

Not yet @liam1955 just have to be patient. I prefer being on insulin solely. I reacted badly to Metformin and Gliclazide did nothing for my BGs. :)

@eddie1968 - I thought when I began on Insulin (2 years ago) all the diabetic tablets would stop? No, still take 2000mg Metformin a day, and I stopped taking the Dapagliflozin 3 days ago (it felt like peeing razor blades!!!!). I was tried on 5 other diabetic medicines whilst on the Metformin before the Insulin. I just want to be discharged from the Hospital Diabetic Clinic back to my GP Surgery Diabetic Clinic. They are a "joke" at the Hospital, keep going on about losing weight all the time. Just need to lose a stubborn 10lb and I am sticking at 12 stone. (Lost 1stone 4lb since November,2015). Talking about weight - it's time to eat!!! Look after yourself and we'll chat again soon. And I do hope you hear soon about your sleep study.:)

I can't tolerate Metformin. I have had over half my colon removed by surgery and it gave me the runs.

Went for a short walk along the canal path at sea level. If it had been summer I might have went up the hills. :)

Hello everyone. I've just caught up with the thread. I've had a lovely weekend away but I've eaten lots of things I shouldn't so I must get back on track tomorrow. @liam1955 I'm so sorry to read you haven't been well. I hope you are feeling tons better now. :)

Hello @liam1955 yes we stayed at Sutton on Sea. It was good fun. When we got back all the crocuses had flowered. The sunshine at the weekend must have been just what they needed. :)

@mo53 - yes, we have some nice sunny weather, here in York and Scarborough were very nice and Sunny today. We are now officially into Spring as from yesterday and the clocks go forward on Saturday. So, you'll have longer days to go in the garden.:)

Morning @Diamum5972 good to have you back. Did you enjoy your wool fair?
Yep I had a great time thanks, the weather was fantastic on the Saturday so we had a picnic in Princes Street Gardens! Good job I packed extra pork scratchings and gluten free crackers :) When we got back home the weather was yuk so I've caught another cold, but apart from that I'm feeling great

Been lurking for a while, things have been busy at home and work, new role there has been demanding, not able to walk at lunchtime as much as I used to.
Shoulder still sore.... exercises must be done.
MiL not keeping too well, causing Mrs Hj a lot of grief.
BG been okay, misplaced my testing kit for 24 hours, not a good thing.
Weather getting.
