Type 2 Life

@ickihun - Good, I am so pleased - (it's all a learning curve) and you'll never be No.1 "Drama Queen" that's my title!!:D You can be No.2.:):)
Perhaps we will need to run a competition for the forum's Drama Queen - although I am not sure I could cope with the tantrums

I'm at it again - the vodkas poured, the Voice final is on and I only have eyes for Ricky. Don't give a t*** who wins - Ricky's wearing a dinner suit Sigh ! Sorry William @liam1955 you're relegated to my no 2 boy tonight!

Anna I don't mind one bit, he is yummy! Enjoy your vodka.xx

@Osidge - Sorry to bother you, I know you are busy - but, there is Squeekyboy member wanting to get onto Type 2 Life, I have tried to get him over but think I am doing something wrong. Could/Would you help? - Please and Thank You.

Blimey I've missed it all tonight! I did a second shift at the theatre, we had a full house and not enough volunteers to do front of house eek! Luckily it went well, we were dashing about like clockwork mice but at least it counts as exercise lol

@ickihun I'm so glad you're not leaving us, you're so positive despite your own problems. The place wouldn't be the same without you. And @liam1955, it goes without saying you are Drama Queen number 1! @13lizanne, enjoy your vodka and Ricky - you deserve it :)

Wandering over here to put my two pennies worth into the mix on this thread.

Think I'm ready to go back to work on Monday having been off from my Main Job since the Thursday before Easter. It's been a busy fortnight with music work, though. (Some piano teaching, and organist at local church.) I had a lovely time meeting up with friends and former colleagues as well.

See my PM to you

We are all so different and yet we are bound together in our common task of managing our diabetes. Let us support and be supported.

Sweet dreams.

Doug

Silly me bought diet coke with a mini treat from winnings.
Yep! You guessed it. Caffeine so I'm wide awake. Ping!
I'm taking my 2 guests to see my mum for Sunday lunch at her house in 6hrs time and I've had 3hrs sleep. Luckily I'm not driving. (James aka Marcus will take us to my childhood home where over cooked veg awaits. Ha ha) I get told the price of the meat joint and how she managed to save on her vegtable costs via aldi.
Mums!
Have a smashing Sunday guys whatever your plans.
If you're on your own just think of those nasty dishes I'll be doing for our 9 lunchetts.

Hi everyone,

Hope it's a good day all round, hugs free to all who need or want them :).

Pretty decent readings today, all in the 6's so far, definitely steering clear of the scones though.
My BP will be rising soon, hubby has the remote glued to his hand and the channel is changing every 2 minutes, everything from 'Ello Ello', gorillas, police, cooking, farming (in Welsh), now it's Wayne Rooney, whoopy do. And I mustn't forget I have horse racing to look forward to :meh:.
Apologies if I'm generalising here but I think it's a 'man' thing - my hubby is a terror and often does it during the adverts so all he gets is more adverts!!!

With you there on the over cooked veg :)and I never understand why they have to be like that... just cook'em less. I think it is criminal to get over cooked veg when you go out to restaurants.... and don't start me on well done meat...
I hope your Sunday lunch is a good one followed by a good sleep tonight.

Ads do appear to be on at the same time... so there is no escape.... :(

It's been like this all of the week.

4.8 yesterday FBG
4.6 before dinner, Haddock, salad of rocket, watercress, radishes, avocado, olive oil dressing, glass of red wine.
Stiff 35 min walk.
4.6 2 hours after.
4.2, FBG

The only things I've changed are, more walks, not had yogurt for breakfast, probably eating more cheese and stopped snacking on almonds.

Off to make a pot of tea, do some work and watch "MoD"....

Sad to relate, looks like DUFC are done and relegated... :arghh:

Wish all a good Sunday.

@ickihun - And I too throw my hands up in the air and say I am Guilty too. Vicky

My mum does a great line in boiled-to-death veg as well. It must be that generation

Sorry that the caffeine kept ypu awake. I am one of those weird people who isn't affected by caffeine and so the last thing I do each evening is have a cup of coffee. The thing that does keep me awake is red wine. I usually only have one glass a week but on Friday evening was out wth friends and had 3 glasses. I suffered for it in Friday night!

Hope you have a lovely time with your mum.

Those are excellent readings. Are you on any medication? I can't tolerate yoghurt in the morning, it pushes my readings right up although it's fine later in the day.
