Type 2 Life

That would be good if I was in the West :) we're midway between Edinburgh and Glasgow, our forecast is for top temps of 18 You enjoy the sun Eddie, I'll hide from it as usual! My sunhat is so large it casts a shadow 10ft in diameter

Good morning everyone another bright warm sunny day he in Manchester but Monday morning blues ☺ hope the little ones at school are in a good mood and take it easy on me today have a good day

Morning everyone, gong to be another scorcher. No photos on this one, but yours truly had 50% of his face with sunburn and the other half as white as lard. So the cap and the parasol didn't help then:) off for a nice sports massage this morning followed by the gym then the weekly shopping, all fresh and nothing processed of course. :)

Good Morning, my good, supportive friends and fellow type II diabetes mellitus sufferers on the www.diabetes.co.uk Type 2 Life Forum,

I awoke this morning, Monday 9th May, 2016, at 1:50 am in the morning and consumed a large chicken and sweetcorn deep pan pizza which I warmed up on full power in my 800 Watt Microwave Oven and ate it. Then I went back to bed after administering my Schizoaffective mood stabilising Carbamazepine medication and Atorvastatin 80 mg antihypercholesterolaemia medication and after that event I slept until 6:01 am in the morning and took my morning mood stabiliser of Carbamazepine, my antihypertensive medications, anti urinary retention medication of Tamsulosin Hydrochloride and my antihyperglycaemic medication of Metformin Hydrochloride of 1000 mg. I took my blood glucose reading and it was 6.5 Millimoles Per Litre. I smoked a lot of hand-rolled Old Holborn tobacco cigarettes and had 1 mug of coffee with 1 x 5ml spoonful of Red Mountain coffee granules, 1/2 dessertspoon of Coffee Mate and 3 Silver Spoon 0 Calorie artificial sweetener tablets. I then took my blood glucose reading again and it was 7.8 Millimoles Per Litre. I had anticipated the rise in blood glucose had been precipitated by the nicotine in the profuse consumption of rollies smoked because a website informed myself that nicotine and tobacco products can significantly raise blood glucose in type 2 diabetics, hence putting them at a large risk of contracting cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Have a lovely day, my friends on www.diabetes.co.uk.

5.3 am
First 5 after a week of 4's and being feeling like c**p most of last week... just no energy and really forcing myself to go for walks or even chores round the house, not good.
Yesterday first day of real sun and really didn't want to go outside at all, which is unusual for me.
This morning it is looking really lovely over the Tay, even managed morning exercises at 06:05 with the sun streaming in.
Hope your day/week is good.

Well my 'catalogue' of bad food yesterday caught up with me - 7.1 this morning, had a 30 minute swim .. now at TEN :( can't remember the last time I've been double figures. Pulling myself together and strictly LCHF this week. I'm away camping next week so will have to prep food for that. Not the best start to the week but hey, things can only get better ...!

Morning all 6.5 this morning getting ready for appiontment at eye hospital and here in sutton, Birmingham just had heavy downpour! Gonna warm up but heavy rain tonight. Have good day everyone

Morning all, you lot have been busy haven't you! Thanks for the chuckles :) I ran out of test strips for my Accu Chek yesterday so I've switched to my Code Free meter. Got a surprise when it said 7.7! I hope that's just an anomaly, I can't switch back to the Accu Chek until Thursday when I get my benefits. At least I got a better nights sleep last night, I feel almost human this morning :) Have a good day everyone

Don't get me going on taxi fares I have to be at Queens at 7 AM tomorrow can't take car bus and tram trip takes about 2 hours and bus not running till way to late taxi fare when we enquired is £57 flippen heck.

Well I have hayfever in earnest now.
I had a weird night with symptoms of hypo but tested and was 7.4 which is ok level for me.
I do wonder if I'm starting the menopause. We'll see. If I get it more regular and other symptoms it will be confirmed. I'm praying thrush isn't included?
Toddler woke 10 times through the night crying after being told off by his aunty during Sunday lunch. Oh and no afternoon nap. Things I do for my family for them to enjoy my kids. Only child grandkids but immature adults get jealous of the attention they need from their only grandparent. Silly people. :(

Oh you poor thing! I got my hay fever symptoms early this year and my old OTC antihistamines sent my blood sugar through the roof. I told my doctor and now I get Loratidine on prescription, lo and behold no effect on my BG! Sending you hugs for immature family members and possible menopause too.

Oh @maureen5752 bless you.
I'm thankful you're not in that nightmare now. You must be so happy now.
I know there is always people far worse off than me but when it's your family letting you down it cuts deep. Family is very very important to me but many take itfor granted. I don't. Never will. I out a lot of effort in and hopefully my children will do the same. My little family are very very close and I like that. It's important to have good relationships which get nutured and prosper.
Shame lazy people don't put their imput in to. Disgrace really.
