Once the neurogist sees him he will get those tablets.
Is there any triggers @tina_marie? Worst times of day etc?

Was only seeing gp today. Dn and specialist on 27th.
Locum gp said same as us. I need one slow-release metformin tablet for hormones. She ordered fsh and Lh hormones blood test.
Nurse couldnt get any blood from me so I have to go back friday morning. Son has a boys problem too. Might need an op!
Nurse was shouting out for my toddler to stop running around in waiting room, but we were in on our own and he was just playing and giggling with znxious 9yr old, to distract him. Their dad just let them play as they were in on their own. This nurse gets stressed when staff half man'd.
I had locum, who was great. New receptionist, who couldnt order my pen needles and stressed out nurse who could find my blood.
Oh fun and games!
 
@ickihun - Are you having the 850mg SR Metformin? Fingers crossed it helps Vicky, at least it is a start. Your little boy's problem is it his foreskin? If so, it's not such a trauma - I was 5 when mine was removed and yet don't remember it. The shock/trauma I remember at 5 was starting school - still have nightmares!!:D William x

I think they come in different strengths like co codamol which you can buy over the counter at 8/500, but the bombs I was taking at the w/e for my abscess were 30/500, and only available on prescription

No metformin from gp. Only specialists can agree it for me so none til 27th, hopefully!
No son has one missing and pain inside. No muscle as manhood, just skin no appendages. :(

can't think of anything that sets him off , I told him if he carries on i'm tying his legs to the bottom of the bed.

on the box it says 500/10mg tablets.
 
HB1ac cancelled this morning because the lovely lady who takes my bloods was off sick. She is a bit of a genius because I need to have my blood taken out of the back of my hand. Hope she is better soon. Unfortunately I can't up my medication for another week because I don't want to mess up my readings. Had sausages for breakfast to celebrate because nobody is sticking big needles into me today, next Wednesday instead.

Hi William if have the stronger pain relief it will mean being of work for some time as don't really agree with me plus make me drowsy so having these ones takes the edge off the pain and can still work on lite duties .
I hope you get your pain and problems sorted soon .

Hi Vicky the worse time of day for me is mid afternoon after being on my feet all day at work or home and it's when sat on sofa for a while and try and get up it feels like someone is squeezing the base of my spine and my legs don't want to move so doc thinks may be nerve damage plus the lack of feeling in my feet doesn't help much

Afternoon, dull, windy and dry. FBG 7.0 and pre-dinner injection 4.9 mmol/l. Watching Romania vs Switzerland with dinner and lazing on couch. :)

I have kept a strip back for when the pain does get to much for me to handle
But I have suffered with my back since my car wreck when I was 18 so I'm used to putting up with pain put I will admit that it is getting close to my threshold to what I can tolerate and that walking is getting harder by end of the day but hopefully all will be sorted in a few more weeks

Did you know, Ron, that if you tolerate a specific pain for long enough, your body sets up what is known as a pain memory - a pathway along the nerve centres that remains even when the cause of the pain is gone, and which is totally impervious to any sort of painkillers.
Take the painkillers, mate.

@eldergarth - Thanks Ron. I understand what you are saying, and I hope your appointment to see the Neurologist is in the postal system - SOON.? :)

No didn't know that but back on the pain killers again now got I knew prescription today just waiting for them to take affect

I am sorry I haven't been online recently but the wifi is still restricted in my flat and the public library was closed yesterday. I have been having good blood glucose levels, yesterday it was only 4.7. Today was a bit higher because last night I ingested a large doner kebab that my best friend Lee bought me and before that I had a plate of oven chips with salt. This morning my BG was 7.7 at first then 7.1. I have taken my Metformin now so it might be lower now because I haven't taken it since I took it. I feel OK today and my ADHD is good although I missed my Carbamazepine for the mood swings in it on Sunday night. Asperger Syndrome is good too that I am also diagnosed with as you know.
