You haven't mentioned bloating previously @cdpm, at least not on this thread.Veggie soup
Trying to eat a little less to help with being so bloated.
I've been getting bloated after eating for many years. But I can keep it less by not eating more than 2 cups of food at one time. You haven't mentioned bloating previously @cdpm, at least not on this thread.
There are many possible causes. Swallowing excessive air (we all swallow some) is a common cause, especially if you talk and eat quickly at the same time. Constipation is another. Are you drinking enough water during the day? The intestinal distress that you suffer could point to another medical condition besides diabetes, so I'd keep an open mind about the cause.
I don't know the cause but am totally weary on only being given a new med to issues I have as opposed to actually fixing them. You haven't mentioned bloating previously @cdpm, at least not on this thread.

Yes, that must be trying @cdpm. Perhaps you would benefit from referral to a gastroenterologist for investigations.I don't know the cause but am totally weary on only being given a new med to issues I have, as opposed to actually fixing them.
I suppose the effects depend on the type of stuffing @cdpm. Recipes are many and various, some diabetic-friendly, others not so much. Do you have any ground flaxseeds in your pantry?Vege soup
With some stuffing added
Nope. I always thought that I couldn't have seeds with no teeth.I suppose the effects depend on the type of stuffing @cdpm. Recipes are many and various, some diabetic-friendly, others not so much. Do you have any ground flaxseeds in your pantry?
I wouldn't recommend whole flaxseeds @cdpm. They are usually sold ready ground. Once milled they are nutritious and diabetic-friendly. I use ground flaxseeds, otherwise known as linseeds, as a substitute for breadcrumbs in all manner of recipes.Nope. I always thought that I couldn't have seeds with no teeth.

I've not tried adding ground flaxseeds to soup @cdpm. They're ideal for binding a mixture like stuffing. Can I add some to soup?
