If there's some left over, you might want to stir in a swirl of yoghurt.Homemade beet and potato soup. With 4 beets, 2 potatoes, 1 onion, 1 tablespoon each of black pepper and garlic powder, 2 chicken bouillon cubes, 5 cups of water.

Good evening @Mick Jagger 55. Welcome back to this thread for type 2 diabetic foodies.For breakfast 3 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, a clove of garlic, half a red onion and 2 slices of toast with black coffee- reading of 5.5 before lunch
I suppose that counts as an eating day then @cdpm.I can't remember if its an eating day or not.
I drank 3 meal replacement drinks.
Might be an idea to restart your food diary, if so @cdpm.

My standard breakfast: cottage cheese, blueberries, and almonds
Lunch: I pre-cook vegetables so I can load my plate. Today was a new try, smoked salmon and lettuce on an English Muffin*, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes
*May have been too carb heavy.
