Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Breakfast = 7km run
Lunch = Greek Yoghurt and strawbs and a new season discovery apple
Dinner = Cod and Chps on the beach followed by a 2 mile walk 4.6 before 6.8 2 hrs after
 
So far today I have had egg beaters (scrambled), bacon (LOTS of bacon), whole wheat bagelthin with strawberry cream cheese spread, and 2 cups coffee with splenda and 1/2 & 1/2.
 
Breakfast, Uncle Topbys Plus Fibre cereal with skim milk.
Lunch, Leg Ham, low fat cheese and tomato toasted sandwich on wholemeal.
Snack, the nicest navel orange i have ever eaten.

L: chicken leg, 2 slices cheese, coffee n cream

D: beef stir fry, sf ice cream

S: 4 cocktail saus, slice ham, 2 x pepsi max
 
Yesterdays:

Breakfast: Half chicken breast and a dab of mayo
Lunch: 6 Belly pork rashers
Dinner: King prawn foo young and a spoonful of boiled rice

L: chicken leg and two eggs

D: 4 chicken patties and two eggs

S: coffee n cream, pepsi max

S: pork rinds, lc chocolate, half frankfurter with mustard and cheese

D: 2 chicken drums, cauliflour, pepsi max
 
fresh kokos, cream with blueberries , a pear....and som ham and wholegrain black-bread , did a lot of fitness to eat that as i usually do not eat more than 1000 kcal... but ended up on 1100kcal when all my training was counted in
 
Today I have had a Lidl high protein bread roll and a large piece of Edam.
Waiting on Dinner of Chicken Thighs and Cauli Rice.

Has anyone tried the Low Carb bread from Waitrose....is it good?

Lunch: Chocolate shake replacement meal (200 cals) & cup of tea no sugar

2 cups of tea no sugar

Snack at 7pm: Replacement meal bar (201 cals)
Tea 2 at 10:30pm: Sweet & Sour meal from Slimfast (99 cals)

Cup of tea no sugar

Breakfast today - 60g smoked salmon, 1/2 avocado, cherry tomatoes.

Lunch (work canteen) - pork with kale

Dinner - cold chicken with veg or salad.

Snacks - almonds

Drinks - coffee, tea, water

I found an old recipe, and I tried it today:
2 eggs
2 oz. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. b.powder
your choice of sweetener
Mix all together, let sit 5 min., then you can either make 3 or 4 pancakes or 1 large omelet like pancake, which is what I did, then add a little butter and fav. syrup.
it was very satisfying as I love pancakes in the morning

For pancakes I mash a banana and add an egg and cinnamon - and it makes really tasty pancakes. Not had it recently though but just thought I'd share the recipe. I think if I wanted it really sweet I'd add Agave syrup which has a low GI and is sweeter than sugar so you'd get away with using less. It's also quite runny. Then add cream but I've only just been diagnosed so I'm trying to steer clear of all sweet things at the moment until I can work out how it all impacts me
