Hello @Piccyman this is the thread for posting what you eat in a day. Thought I'd tag you here, you can compare what you eat with others and exchange ideas. The fbg thread is just for fasting blood values

yesterday: 1/2 avocado and 1 scrambled egg (in butter)
lunch: 1/2 avocado and 4 tiny baby mozzarella (from M&S on my hols, wish we had a local store)
tea: Farmyard duck roasted - 2 small duck breasts - no veg sorry! no veg in fridge, must shop tomorrow)
supper: 2 sesame seed rivita with butter and a tiny smear of Orkney honey.
Bedtime drink: Honey (1/2 tsp) and lemon juice in hot water to help with sore throat. Sipped what was left cold over night. Normal drink is just water.

today:
Breakfast: the usual for most days 1/2 avocado and scrambled egg ( duck for a change, though tastes the same as a hen egg!)

Lunch: 1/2 avocado and 6 mini mozzarella

Tea: 4 small lamb chops (from a rare breed North Ronaldsay lamb, they live on seaweed, google them. Very small, so tiny chops), 3 small slices of roasted sweet potato, one sweet pepper roasted, 8 baby tomatoes roasted, 1 portabello mushroom roasted and a handful of sugar snap peas.

Pudding: a few blueberries, one strawberry and about 4 raspberries with some double cream.

Not enough fluid taken today though..... medium sized mug tea on rising. Glass lemonade (sugar free), cup tea around 2pm and nothing else. So about to down a pint of water before bed and will take a glass up to bed with me.

Water ready in a bottle in the fridge for tomorrow and work.

Does everyone else find that they are drinking much more water on this diet than they did before?

Before I started this I drank a bit less than I do now, but rant to the loo every half hour. Now I drink a lot more but run tt he loo less?

Anyway today:
No breakfast
Lunch - a slice of Black Eye (it's Lorne sausage with black pudding in the middle - made by our local craft butcher), two free range eggs and a square of 90% choccy
Snack while driving - a punnet of raspberries
Snack before feeding and stabling horses - apple slices and tablespoon almond butter
Supper - chicken curry (onion, fresh ginger and chilli and spices, coconut milk, ground almonds) with a small amount of red rice.

I've stepped up an extra snack in the day time because I was getting quite cold and too hungry.
Also I'm using my local butcher so much more rather than supermarket "mystery meat". Not as cheap, but so much better

My first Lidl roll! Eaten with tuna pate and a generous amount of mixed salad leaves, also from Lidl. Perhaps more importantly there is a Lidl being built 15 minutes walk away. Can't wait.
i like mine with whole earth peanut butter with seeds with i found the lowest carbs of 4.6 per 100g

Snack at 1.15am/lunch 1.10pm Shared between both: Few prawns, 6 tiny tomatoes, 1 avocado, small piece mozzarello and small piece brie.

5pm snacked on 4 brazil nuts (zumba at 6.45, so no tea until after then)

Tea later in evening will be: pan fried in strips wild goose breast with mushrooms, peppers, mange tout and spinach.

BS reading when I came home from work, walking about 1/2 mile the long way, 6.1 :)
Hoping that the walk to zumba, then the class and a walk home will take my readings down more. Its that dreaded liver dump in the morning that gets me. Will maybe try a piece of brie before I go to bed?
