Fog 5.5 this morning doing nothing different,breaking my fast and having breakfast 3 tbsp full fat yogurt 2 strawberries and 10 Blueberrys cup coffee with milk.Will check BG in 2hrs.

I was a 5.4 this morning.

I did n't get a cold at all last winter, but this time around I've had one for the last 4 weeks. Don't know if it is affecting my BG levels at all, but it is *&^^&"! me off

Mixed readings for the last 2 and 1/2 weeks, some scary fasting. Different diet in France and eating post Christmas treats through boredom, incredibly cold weather, stress, colds and having stopped my supplements too throughout that period. I even raised the Lantus by one unit to try to restore my normal readings with little effect ..... I resumed my supplements yesterday. The last couple of days readings however have been not too bad. 6.3 yesterday and 6.0 today!

The trouble is with a cold you are more susceptible to picking up another one. Yes it obviously can affect blood sugar.
