Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

I love your 5s. Well done. A hba1c soon?

Yep, probably aiming to get it done in 2 weeks or so. I've gone a bit awol from my Docs and still need to tell them I stopped the statins ;)

Feeling great though now my numbers are in control again, boy does it make a difference :):)

Thank you for your encouragement :) :) I'm new into it, so going for the satiety of the fat first and my focus is the blood readings above all else. Will worry about calories in a few weeks/months once my bloods are better controlled.
(And I'm doing quite physical work and living in a caravan. It's cold and I need energy :) )
Not that I should be considered a role model (especially this week as am on hollibobs and really naughty) but this was the way I started last September. The weight will come off when you start to fiddle with the calorie balance. Well done to you though so far. Keep it up.:)

7.6 this morning. Get in.

Breakfast coffee with cream, a tub of hummus and half a pack of pepperoni. Lunch stewed green beans, cauli, garlic and tomato with a good glug of olive oil, and a pot of fresh ginger, tumeric and lemon tea. Dinner 2 eggs poached in miso soup, with spinach and a pack of smoked mackerel (not sure if this was a winner or not, probably should have kept them separate).

Had a pretty physical day laying concrete and took the dog and goat for a walk too after my bloods rose to 9 after lunch.

Pretty pleased with progress tho. Just on the metformin now have ditched the Lyxumia. Last hba1c was 71 at the beginning of January.
