Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.1 today (although 11:30 is stretching it for a morning reading, even for a Sunday)
 
I got up at 5am with 4.2. After the 5.9 yesterday this was a bit of a surprise.

I am not on any medication - have not been for the past 3 months because, for some reason, I am in remission - my readings are good lowest 4.6 - highest 2 hours after eating 7.9. My doctor still gives me testing strips ...... I am classed as Diabetic 2
 
8.9...I'm on 2 metformin morning and night, lowest I've had is 7.8...think I need at least 1 more tablet!
 
Mine was 14 up from 9.3 the week before.
Readings and weight seem to be all over the place at the moment.
Struggling to get to grips with the diet.
