Brilliant efforts Vicky, very happy for you!!Fbg 5.4 this morning and...... more weight loss. It's falling off on the right amount of insulin.Appetite is appeased too.
So happy to lose carb and protein cravings. Fingers crossed I can keep it that way!
Still good honeyWell up a little today 5.8 after a somewhat carby day yesterday.
Welcome to our morning line6.3 this morning, about average for me.
Even with a "relaxed week" your body is managing well. Congratulations!!! Knowing your approach the weight will fall off again!5.7 at 9:00
had almost a whole week off and ate like all the others around me on this hollyday lots of sweets and chips and high carb foods... seems I can now regulate my blood glucose, days where I remembered to measure fasting blood glucose was 6.0 and 5.8 .. well still on metformin anyways... but nice to know.. now going back to lower carb food choices and ... and if I can force myself to do it also low calories for a while... gained around 1 kg from all this binging... tomorrow fitness again as usual...
Maybe GP's right and you shouldn't worry (more stress and all that)Morning All
6.9 for me again today.
My 16 day average is now running around 6.5, which is a lot higher than I had got used to - it was 5.2. Mentioned this to my GP yesterday as a concern and he basically laughed out loud and said 90% of his patients wouldn't get anywhere near that and I shouldn't worry.
But........
Some aim for less than 10g per 100g. Especially for breakfast as worse time for your Insulin resistance (diabetes) to cope with carbs.I will be testing my BG in about a hour. Is 16 grammes carbs so bad? Excuse my ignorance, I was under the impression this was a healthy breakfast.
Yes on gliclazide.8.1 an hour after eating down to 6.0 after 2 hours - does this sound about right?
First day of stopping my Metformin and sugars down to 5.6
4.5 at wake up, after switching from Metformin to Glilcazide yesterday. Bad taste in mouth has gone, and actually enjoyed a breakfast of porridge and chopped banana.
Darling, you do so well.It is 5.4 from me this morning. Been a good girl and not over indulge although very tempting. It sucks to be a diabetic.
Same lurgies as mine then? Ha haI am having some breathing problems at night again, gunna see my GP tomorrow and get him to check me out.
We have not seen the dreaded lurgie for years, not since the kids left school years ago. Old Ned Seagoon got rid them here.
That's right. Only true perspective is no meds thou. With meds it distortes the facts a little. All meds have a threshold so once deducted gives the full picture of IR severity. @JeremySE18 .it is all depending on how servere your insuline resistance is... you can see that from how high it spikes your blood glucose and if your numbers get down to a normal level 2 hours after eating your food... like under 6.5 mmol
GP is right!Morning All
