Have a funny feeling it was the whole wheat flour. Anything with flour sends my blood sugar up.but was it worth it for the occasional treat? Do you know which ingredient caused the rise? Could you make it on a wholemeal wrap instead? At least then you could eat a whole pizza for the same hit. I've seen a recipe but can't find it now.
Good morning everyone. I made a whole wheat pizza with lots of mozzarella cheese, anchovies, thinly sliced mushrooms and red onions for dinner. Had only a quarter of the pizza and this morning my fbs was 6.0. I suppose I should only pizza once in a blue moon.
