Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Good morning all, it is 5.7 fbs for me this morning.

What happened? Are you on any kind of medication? See a doctor if the numbers continue this high.

6.4 @ 8.30am.
Even after having a Chinese yesterday lunchtime my bgs were only 3.3 by early evening - I'm usually hypo by then but I wasn't last night. After evening meal I was only 3.7 so did not take any insulin (prior to evening meal.) and had a bit of chocolate last night as I don't like my b.s. being that low. But they're back up this morning so have injected insulin as normal.

Did you have any hypo feeling when you are that low?

Recorded 5.4 which happens to be a drop in bg two hours after breakfast of scrambled eggs, tomatoes onion. I need an explanation for the drop in bg whereas one would expect a rise. Over to you forum members.

My doctor told me if there is a drop in big level two hours after eating, it is because I was not eating enough.

What number was before breakfast? Did you do something physically in that two hours? Anyway, 5,4 two hours after meal is excellent - I personally have the target 3,9-5,6 two hours after meal, so 5,4 is SUPER!!

No, Keesha - I felt fine, but my blood sugars have been all in the 4's or low 5's since I've been in Devon, so naybe I'm just getting more accustomed to running on lower sugars.

Oh, in that case, you have nothing to worry about. 4's and 5's are perfect numbers. Good for you.

5.1 at 4:50 am.

Got the Digoxin blood test results yesterday from my GP, the digoxin levels are good and to stay on three tablets in the morning.

All the other tests that were done under rule three were all good.

rom35 fbg was 5.8 @ 8.30am but did some washing in between.

So it is ok and excellent. Going from 5,8 to 5,4 is very nice. Keep it. If you have no medicaments, 2h after meal numbers have to go from 3,9 to 5,6. Nice job!
