Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

5.9 a few minutes ago. At least 2016 starts with a reading below 6.0 - just. It's been a bit confusing lately (hitting as high as 9.8 around midday recently purely down to steroid spike that nothing seems to reduce), so I have decided to start the year by not taking my Gliclazide at all..appears to make very little/if any real difference. May as well see what my levels are like without it again. We shall see. Btw - happy new year.
 
Awful nights sleep, but 2016 starts with my lowest reading for ages of 8.4!!! Awesome to be below 9

fbg 4.7 this morning Had a couple of glasses of fizz, a very nice (low carb-ish) Indian takeaway AND a sneaky slice of fruit cake at 11pm so I was expecting it to be higher. Happy New Year to all of us, let's hope it brings health and happiness.

5.3 this morning... I presume it must have been the mixed nuts I was snacking on as it was 4.4 before I went to sleep.

That's a nice number for you, pal...I have been meaning to ask about your averages and what you could maybe do about them. Maybe you could message me rather than enter into a dialogue here? If not..cool...good luck. Nice star to the year though...hope it gets even better.
