5.9 a few minutes ago. At least 2016 starts with a reading below 6.0 - just. It's been a bit confusing lately (hitting as high as 9.8 around midday recently purely down to steroid spike that nothing seems to reduce), so I have decided to start the year by not taking my Gliclazide at all..appears to make very little/if any real difference. May as well see what my levels are like without it again. We shall see. Btw - happy new year.

Had a couple of glasses of fizz, a very nice (low carb-ish) Indian takeaway AND a sneaky slice of fruit cake at 11pm so I was expecting it to be higher. Happy New Year to all of us, let's hope it brings health and happiness.
