6.4 today. It is what it is. Painful night as I landed on my derrière (black ice) when I took dogs for last walk so I comforted myself with some tea & biscuits when I got home. At least no broken bones.

7.4 today. Did sleep in rather late, so if I had shifted myself and got up at a reasonable hour I suspect it would have been a lot lower. Off out to the jeweller's shop today, a closing down (retirement) sale and my husband's late Christmas present co-incide! My eyes are lighting up already! Chicken casserole in my new cast iron casserole tonight!
