Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

8.7 today. As I'm not eating chocolate it must be bread that's doing it. I had a sandwich late last night. Need to cut out that too again, I let it sneak back into my diet.

The only reading in the 6s recently has been after a day of no chocolate or bread.

I've been getting regular calf cramps after dinner, which I've had before. I took a reading about 3 hours after dinner and I was over 12. Time to study the carb content of my meals methinks (always wanted to use that word )

Thanks for reading.

8.9. I'm much higher than most people here
As @DJC3 said don't compare yourself to others and always read the smallprint of their journey and regime - often found in signatures. The key point IMHO is what is happening to your bg levels in general - are they on a downward path?. If you are taking medication or changing diet does that appear to be working although that will take time - you did not become type 2 all of a sudden and won't reverse it suddenly ( 1 month?) reverse it.
