Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Diagnosed 7 weeks ago.
HbA1c 101!!
First blood glucose reading 18.5 mm/ol
Metformin 1000mg daily.
Taking lots of supplements i.e. cinnamon etc
I am slowly watching my morning reading get lower, however it really frustrates me because its always high.
Today i was 8.5 I ate a steak, cauliflower and peppers for tea then had some peanuts for a snack before bed. Why does it show up higher than when i went to bed at 7.5?
Do i need to be more patient?
I am using a LCHF diet at the moment.

Hi @Al1ce and welcome to the Forum, as this is a very low level chat thread, just for a quick record of Fasting Blood Sugars (which is your first test in the morning when you wake up and haven’t eaten anything yet)
If you need a question answered please feel free to write your own thread in an appropriate sub forum, you’ll get more advice and replies that way.
