5.2 Guess the 800 calorie diet is working.

6.6 is fantastic. What changes made such a brilliant effect?
Good morning
Great to hear from you, over the last few months I have been on a very low carb diet, but my BG has been very up and down. So I was not sure what else I could do,I exercise every day eat healthy.
I was looking on the NHS Choices website at an article called Green tea: the elixir of life or just hype? So I thought I would give it a go, I have given up in the past 10 days all tea and coffee and have green tea in the morning and drink only water for the rest of the day, it seems to be doing something my BG has dramatically dropped.
Its well worth a look at the article.
Take care Alan in Sunny Suffolk

Hi Interested in the GP recommendation of eating malt bread can I ask why this is ? is it good for us? I would have though there was sugar content in this.

6.9 at 0730 today. I'm happy with anything under 7, but I thought it would be lower. I don't know why it's higher today. Might be because I didn't go out for a walk yesterday, too cold, wet and grey. Or because I didn't have a couple of glasses of Merlot last night?
