@snidge are you following a low carb eating method?The past few mornings it's been as high as 10, type 2 diabetic. It always gets higher overnight and I've tried a bedtime snack, no bedtime snack, an evening walk etc. It used to be around 9 in the mornings when I was working.... I guess retirement is a lot more sedentary.
@scouse13 be careful of sugar. Takes your levels up and then stays up. That's ok for non-insulin resistant diabetics as they come back down quite quickly and encouraged to have a longer lasting carb. Insulin resistant sufferers don't have that privilege.Morning all

Bed time bg = 5.6 have a biscuit
0113 = 4.6 jumpy feet had a biscuit
0600 = 6.7 had breakfast.
Light exercise today.
