Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

I had a lazy lie in this morning - so at 10.00 I was 7.3 now at 11.45 (still fasting) I am 8.0

why is this ?!?!?
Is it because I haven't eaten yet ? Is it because I was doing a lot of housework ?
I really am thinking that I am going backward
No your body is providing you with energy, it happens, it thinks because you've not eaten and are being active you need to tap in to your glucose stores, your liver is just showing that it loves you.

Did you have a snack before you went go bed? Your pancreas and liver need something to work on when your asleep, otherwise you will have a liver dump known also as dawn phenomenon. I find healthy grazing and exercise during the day is good, it keeps things ticking over and avoids large sugar spikes throughout the day.

6.6 for me first thing. I've recently started on Victoza and doubled my metformin so blood sugars are going down

5.9 this morning

High for me, but I know what did it - too much beer yesterday celebrating England beating Wales at Twickenham!

Yesterday I had a feeding frenzy so maybe I am suffering the consequences of that

Beautiful Day and Long Weekend

4.7

5.8 at 6.00am, then 6.8 when I re-surfaced after midday. Up again to 7.6 after a bit of food preparation/baking before feeding my face, then down to low 6s and a 5 for the rest of the day. I'm really missing my Libre at the moment for all this weirdness...

In the low 4s all last week but up to 5 this morning after a weekend away at the beach. Did have an episode last week that after a 4.2 morning reading and a breakfast of eggs I experienced an extreme instance of giddy, uncontrollable spinning head and sweating that sat me straight down on my bottom holding onto the floor in case I fell off! I'm on two 500 metformin a day. This has scared me a little about driving as it just came on with no warning and there was little I could do about it. 10 minutes later it passed and I got up and carried on at my job. Any ideas?
