Me too sometimes, especially after Tuesday's ill-advised steak pie. But more usually, I'm lower after meals than fasting. There are at least 42 factors affecting blood glucose levels, of which meal composition and timing are only two.

Nor me these days .....I have so many high readings since before Christmas ...all my own fault ...now I am reasonably happy for 7's and some 6's .

I'm working towards it but it is a long journey, especially with the minimal help I'm getting from my surgery - the stress they cause probably outweighs the drugs they prescribe!
