Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

4.7 before bed, the Northern Ireland air must be suiting me along with the amount of walking I'm doing, as had an ice cream and a few chips with tea. 6.2 this am :)

5.4 again, and again woken up by phone calls and emails and general panic from everybody. They need to learn to chill, like me.

13.7 this morning been creeping up in last week had one at 6.7 finding it hard to keep low take lantus insulin and metformin

As requested in another thread....
My fasting level today 8.3.:( ****. Over to other T2s now....
My fasting blood results are always higher than later on in the day. The lowest it has been is 9 but often it has been more, going down to 7 later in the day. I was told by Diabetic Nurse that it isn't possible for someone who is type 2, even though I have shown her tests. The syndrome where you get high fasting blood sugar is only supposed to happen to people on Insulin she told me. I am on Metformin tablets.

Mine are this morning 13.7. I'd love to be lower when 1st started on insulin in April did get it down to below 8 and some times Evan below 7 one day this week was 6.7
