Had a sweaty 2 mile morning walk yesterday and tested 2h post breakfast at sodding 7.7. Ruined my string of 5's from last week. Today 6.0, so I'm happier with that.. is the hot weather affecting FBG

I have been everywhere between too low for the meter to read and retested at 2mmol an hour later for lowest and 24mmol absolute highest. I am often 7-12 2 hours after meals with reactive highs and lows. The 24 was the night after 2 ciders on an empty stomach (I don't usually drink but that's not enough to get smashed) however I awoke feeling feverish and dizzy then tested twice at 24 and 24.4 (with calibrated monitor, clean fingers, fresh lancet etc). The variation is big so A1c came back normal. All aunts, uncles and grandparents on both sides are diabetic and I apparently have polycystic ovaries. I've put on 40lbs in a year out of nowhere.@LittleWolf diabetes is usually diagnosed through a number of tests and 6.3 fasting is pretty good actually. We all vary, my FBG is usually in the 6's but my Hb results are.in the non diabetic range.
