6.8 **** the heat, generally in the 5's.

Not been in for a while due to various not for on here matters.

Hoping to be more regular in the future, hope everyone has a good day.

4.8 again. What I don't understand is why fasting is nice and low yet after evening meal I'm going up into the 8;s for a short time. On holiday so eating very differently.

10.3 uuurgh

It was very hot though last night and I also had an upset tummy (that will teach me to eat rubbish)

So, hoping for better tomorrow :)

Had a sweaty 2 mile morning walk yesterday and tested 2h post breakfast at sodding 7.7. Ruined my string of 5's from last week. Today 6.0, so I'm happier with that.

Absolute disappointment isn't it when you test high? I had a 6.5 this morning, thought I was so good yesterday. Today been better, do wonder about high temperatures though

@LittleWolf diabetes is usually diagnosed through a number of tests and 6.3 fasting is pretty good actually. We all vary, my FBG is usually in the 6's but my Hb results are.in the non diabetic range.
I have been everywhere between too low for the meter to read and retested at 2mmol an hour later for lowest and 24mmol absolute highest. I am often 7-12 2 hours after meals with reactive highs and lows. The 24 was the night after 2 ciders on an empty stomach (I don't usually drink but that's not enough to get smashed) however I awoke feeling feverish and dizzy then tested twice at 24 and 24.4 (with calibrated monitor, clean fingers, fresh lancet etc). The variation is big so A1c came back normal. All aunts, uncles and grandparents on both sides are diabetic and I apparently have polycystic ovaries. I've put on 40lbs in a year out of nowhere.

6.5 this morning, not much sleep, and after a bbq inc roll and 3 pints Coors light. Was 6.7 before bed.
