Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

6.3 at 6.45 am (and still 6.3 after my shower). Was 5.8 when I went to bed, after ham and egg salad for dinner.

Mine was 6.5 today but at least I do know why. ....

Got a bit carried away at the toughest quiz on the coast last night and on reflection the caramel cheesecake with ice cream might have been a mistake

But hey - I'm on holiday, right?
 
5.5 at 04.15hrs, sleep not going well at the moment with the family away for 6 weeks, but hey ho someone has to pay for it

5.9 this morning 08.20am - pleasantly surprised as I did eat a packet of crisps last night.
 
Good morning - 5.7. It's back to being in the 5s consistently, despite being in pain after an op, so I'm happy
 
5.3 today, down from 5.7 (2hrs after eating and before bed).

2nd day of fasting and had a 3.9 before eating so REALLY pleased I love 3s and 4s!

My metformin stopped working due to my liver.
Now reintroduced they allow more than 30g carb which was making me ill.
Readings now are the same as low carb higher insulin.
Doing medium carb 150g carb and medium fats. 44-60 mixed insulin depending on a treat.
Would you like to drop metformin permanently @liam1955 ?

4.8 at 5:37 am VLCD day 3. Feeling good tho yesterday had some seriously baaaaad craving on chocolate as I saw my boyfriend drinking an icy cold choco drink
