Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Morning All

I had a 5.5 at 07.15 this morning.

Just got back from my annual review with the DN. Was delighted with my blood tests and somewhat overawed by the 6 colour prints I took in of my testing results.

Interesting conversation followed, which started with her saying I really shouldn't be testing, me arguing I needed to test so I know what I can or cannot live with, thus making life more bearable, followed by her actually agreeing with me, at which point I complained of the cost of test strips, to which - to my amazement - she said "you shouldn't have to pay for that", and promptly issued me with a new meter and a prescription for the strips!

Result!

Got her own back by referring me to both the GP and podiatry re my feet though.....

6.0 at 5:15am, eating the doggy bag of goodness we brought home from the Ladies Presidents Day dinner they had on Wednesday.

Some nice nibbley stuff to eat there, like these Ladybugs.
