Clever peeps will give you advice on which meter to get, costwise etc. But I believe it's important to test to understand what foods affect you so you can adapt your diet accordingly. We're all different and so to manage our individual diabetes we need all the information we can get.
@daisy1 will send you some very useful links etc for starters.
